Library Cards for Non-Residents

I f you like to read e-books or listen to audiobooks and want to branch out from your local library (or your library doesn't offer these services or has a meager collection), these libraries offer non-resident library cards. You can read ebooks, magazines, and listen to audiobooks (or watch movies) using the Libby, Overdrive, Hoopla, etc., apps on your mobile device or on the computer without having to step foot in a library. My local library has a large collection, so I don't really need to subscribe to these other libraries, but it's nice to know they're available if I run out of books at my library. These libraries charge a fee for this service.  Be sure to read their page to see how much it costs.
